Training on “Rashtriya Karmyogi Jan Seva Programme” Held at ICAR-RCER, Patna

A training programme on “Rashtriya Karmyogi Jan Seva Programme” was successfully organized at ICAR–Research Complex for Eastern Region, Patna on January 09, 2025. 

The programme comprised four well-structured modules focusing on key aspects of understanding how every action—big or small—impacts citizens. The programme was not merely a training exercise but a shift in perspective, rooted in the values of Seva Bhaav and Svadharma. An evaluation was conducted at the end of the training to assess participants’ learning outcomes and their understanding of the modules covered.

The Chief Guest of the programme Dr. Nachiket Kotwaliwale, Director, ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana in his address to the participants emphasized that effective public service requires continuous learning, integrity, and a strong commitment to citizens’ welfare. He stated that the Rashtriya Karmyogi Jan Seva Programme is a significant initiative aimed at transforming the mindset, skills, and professionalism of public servants to meet emerging governance challenges. 

Dr. Anup Das, Director, ICAR-RCER, Patna said that with strong willpower, dedication, and a genuine desire to serve society, even the most difficult goals can be achieved.

He emphasized that continuous learning is essential and encouraged participants to apply the knowledge gained from the training in their day-to-day work. He further remarked that the most difficult part of any journey is not starting it—once one takes the first step, everything becomes possible. 

The training was coordinated by the Co-Chairman Dr. P. C. Chandran, Course Directors, Dr. Rohan Kumar Raman and Dr. Saurabh Kumar. Technical assistance for the smooth conduct of the programme was provided by Shri Anil Kumar, Shri Vijay Babu Ram and Shri Gautam Ranjan. “The training programme witnessed the active participation of 42 participants, who were awarded online certificates upon successful completion of the programme’, informed Sh.
