Essay Competition Organized under Hindi Pakhwada-2025 at ICAR-RCER, Patna

  As part of the ongoing Hindi Pakhwada-2025 celebrations, an Essay Competition was organized on September 15, 2025 at ICAR-Research Complex for Eastern Region, Patna. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers and employees of the institute.

  On this occasion, Dr. Ashutosh Upadhyaya, Acting Director, ICAR-RCER addressed the gathering. He highlighted that the Hindi Pakhwada-2025 was formally inaugurated at Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat by the Hon’ble Union Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah Ji, marking the beginning of a nationwide initiative to promote and strengthen the use of Hindi in official work. Dr. Upadhyaya underlined the significance of Rajbhasha in ensuring administrative efficiency, effective communication and cultural integration. He encouraged all staff to increase the use of Hindi in day-to-day official correspondence and stressed that such events provide a platform to sensitize and motivate employees towards adopting Hindi more extensively.

Dr. A.K. Choudhary, Principal Scientist; Dr. N. Bhakt, Principal Scientist; and Dr. Shanker Dayal, Principal Scientist wee judges in the competition. the evaluation process is designed to be conducted separately for participants from Hindi-speaking and non-Hindi-speaking backgrounds.

It was informed that during Hindi Pakhwada-2025, a series of activities and competitions related to Hindi will be conducted at ICAR-RCER, Patna. The celebrations will conclude with a Valedictory Programme on 29th September 2025, where winners of various competitions will be felicitated.

The programme was successfully

organized with the dedicated efforts of Dr. Kumari Shubha, Scientist, and Shri Umesh Kumar, Hindi Translator, who coordinated various activities of the event.
