ICAR-RCER, Patna Organizes Awareness Programme on Summer Mungbean and Dhaincha Cultivation under Balanced Fertilizer Use Campaign

An awareness programme on the production of summer mungbean and dhaincha in the rice–wheat system under the “Intensive Campaign on Balanced Use of Fertilizers” was organized by ICAR Research Complex for Eastern Region on May 7, 2026, at Village Nagma under Naubatpur Block of Patna District.

The programme was attended by about 100 farmers. The objective of the programme was to create awareness on the judicious use of fertilizers for improving soil health, enhancing the productivity of the rice–wheat system, reducing input costs, and ultimately increasing farmers’ income.
